Report Your Debtors to The Credit Bureaus
If you have customers that are past due it is important to file report about their delinquent status to all the commercial credit bureaus. When it is time for your customer to apply for credit those new vendors will be notified of the non-payment to you. Ultimately if they want to continue to do business on a credit basis this black mark that we create on their credit history has to be taken care of.
There are two major commercial credit bureaus: Dunn & Bradstreet (D&B) and Experian Business Credit. If you do this in a timely way you are able to increase your chances of collecting all or most of the money due you.
While most all credit bureaus require that you have in excess of 500 debts to report before they will offer your company a membership, Sterling United has NO MINIMUMS
Sterling United will report both your consumer and commercial transactions each month for a period of seven years from the date of last activity.
If you are interest in getting started reporting you customers and debtor please call us or contact us through the “Live Chat” at the top of this page.
